Our care team has been selected from industry leading professionals. Beresford Hall is staffed 24 hours a day by highly experienced registered nurses and care staff. All our staff are appointed in accordance with the Quality of Care Principles 2014 (Cth) and provide superior residential care. We also offer onsite access to allied health professionals, including physiotherapy, speech pathology, hydrotherapy, podiatry and dietetics.
Medication administration and management is performed only by registered nurses. All of our care staff have formal qualifications, including the minimum requirement that personal carers attain a Certificate III in Aged Care.
Beresford Hall provides ageing in place. This means care recipients do not need to move to another facility when their care needs change. We also provide respite care on a short and long-term basis and secure dementia-specific care.
By promoting ongoing family involvement and actively engaging community groups, we are able to maintain a dynamic and fulfilling lifestyle for care recipients of differing care needs.
Our dining room, café, private dining facilities, wine cellar, garden terrace and BBQ area caters to the tastes and dietary requirements of all care recipients and their family and friends (who are invited to dine with care recipients). Our chauffeur provides assistance for shopping trips and excursions in our facility-dedicated 1964 Silver Cloud Rolls-Royce.
Our programs are regularly revised in consultation with care recipients and staff to ensure continuing care recipients interest and participation. We provide various social activities which include movie screenings in our onsite cinema, music therapy, stimulating games, craft activities, as well as physical exercise programs. Our activities calendar includes visiting guests and entertainers, visits from community groups and regular care recipients functions in our private dining and conference room.
All our care recipients are invited to participate in onsite hydrotherapy and exercise programs with our dedicated rehabilitation team. We provide a range of physical therapy programs tailored to each care recipient’s capability. Our onsite health clinic allows for private consultation by medical practitioners and allied health specialists, including physiotherapy, speech pathology, hydrotherapy, podiatry and dietetics.
Beresford Hall is an Extra Service facility approved by the Department of Health and Ageing. Extra Service involves the provision of ‘hotel’ type services or lifestyle extras, including higher standards of accommodation, increased activities, entertainment and food choices.
